Former Boulder City Police Chief Won't Face Charges
LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday it will not be charging the former police chief of Boulder City with a crime.
According to the DA, former Police Chief Thomas Finn did not commit a crime in the case involving emails about a motorcycle gang. Finn was fired by the city last week.
During the preparation for the arrival of the Mongols Motorcycle Club meeting in Boulder City last year, Finn sent an email to his staff directing them to delete emails connected to the event. Permanently deleting emails would be considering destroying public records, which is a crime.
