Hospital Gets $14 Million Grant for Expansion and Renovation | Business

Renovation and expansion of Boulder City Hospital will be funded by a $14 million federal grant, according to information from the office of Senator Harry Reid.
The grant comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development fund. According to the USDA, the hospital’s pharmacy, home health, lab and dietary areas will be remodeled, and surgery, physical therapy, long-term care and admissions lobby will be renovated and expanded. The Emergency Department also will be expanded by more than 5,100 square feet.
