Local Company Provides Car to St. Jude's Ranch for Children

A local nonprofit that provides a home for neglected, abused and abandoned children in southern Nevada received help from a local company.

Findlay Toyota in Henderson presented a new 2014 Toyota Sienna van to St. Jude's Ranch for Children in Boulder City. It was all part of Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program.

The automaker gave away 100 cars to 100 non-profits over the course of 50 days. Winners were selected each day through voting on Facebook.

"We are a children's charity and so donations matter, not only in terms of cash donations, but in-kind donations such as this, is just priceless for us because we have 60 children that are on the move and this will really help us get them where they need to get to safely," Christine J. Spadafor St. Jude's Ranch for Children said.

St. Jude's Ranch for Children transforms the lives of abused, abandoned and homeless children and provides them with the tools they need for a brighter future.
