St. Jude's Receives Money from Wal-Mart | Charity
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children received thousands of dollars in donations from Las Vegas area Wal-Mart and Sam’s Clubs stores Friday.
All 36 stores donated money, which totaled $36,000. The money will go towards the ranch’s recycled greeting card program. The program provides job training for older teenagers.
“This much needed grant helps support the Recycled Greeting Card Program and KIDS’ Corp., which teaches our kids job skills, helping prepare them to become productive, wage-earning members of the community when they leave our care,” Sarah Sheehan, Director of Community Relations said.
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children provides a home for abused, neglected and abandoned children in southern Nevada.
