Students Walk to Fight Cancer

Students at high schools across southern Nevada are walking all night to raise money for cancer research.

It is part of the Relay for Life event. Students in Boulder City, North Las Vegas, Mesquite and Henderson will take turns walking around school tracks for 12 hours. People involved will camp out along the track. They can enjoy music, entertainment and food.

The Relay for Life starts at 6 p.m. on Friday at Boulder City High School. Walkers will be there until 6 a.m. Saturday morning. Money raised will benefit the American Cancer Society.
