Federal Agents Catalog Artwork Found in Fugitive's Storage Unit | Crime
FBI agents are still cataloging the hundreds of pieces of artwork found inside a Boulder City storage facility, which was rented by a German man accused in an international fraud scheme.
Law enforcement arrested 51-year-old Ulrich Engler last week after a check of his fingerprints, following a driving under the influence arrest in February 2011, tied Engler to a $100 million financial scheme in Europe.
Federal agents have found jewelry, sports memorabilia, paintings and statues in the storage unit, with an estimated worth of $20 million.
Engler is being held in Las Vegas until he is deported back to Germany.
