Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada Offer Dozens of Day Camps | Events

Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada has a multitude of programming available this summer for girls 5 to 17 years old. From day camps to single day programs, girls can discover fun and friendships to last a lifetime.

Day Camps

Colorful World of Arts Day Camp

Join Girl Scouts and have fun turning nature into art pieces. Discover how to reuse items like paper, paint, wood, metal and more. There is no limit to their imagination and the materials available to say something about themselves, their world and their interests.

Wacky World of Edible Science Day Camp

Exploring the world of science has never been more delicious! Join Girl Scouts and discover the science behind food when you create and taste-test products like ice cream, pretzels, root beer, bubble gum and more. Throughout the week girls will integrate nutrition and science with topics on water, mixtures, chemical reactions, color, digestive systems and crystals.

Wilderness Wonders Day Camp

Did you know that Clark County has 18 designated wilderness areas totaling 494, 924 acres? You could fit almost 500,000 football fields in that amount of space! Join Girl Scouts and spend three days exploring the wilderness wonders in our own backyard with the help of a Wilderness Stewardship expert from Friends of Nevada Wilderness.

This day camp will inspire innovation as girls work in teams to construct multiple moveable LEGO® projects. In partnership with Bricks 4 Kidz, girls will use LEGO® bricks to explore the world of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM); and architecture. Plus, discover famous women engineers and inventors in the past 100 years.
