Coroner: Father, Son Accidentally Drowned | News

LAS VEGAS -- A man and his young son drowned accidentally near Searchlight in early July, according to information released Wednesday by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Pablo Hernandez Cortez, 36, and Angel Gabriel Hernandez, 2, both of North Las Vegas, drowned at Six Mile Cove near Cottonwood Cove on July 8.

Lake Mead officials said the two were found floating in the water without life vests. Both were pulled out of the water by people nearby, and bystanders performed CPR on them until emergency crews arrived.
