Romney Bus Makes Stop in Boulder City

The campaign bus for the presumptive Republican nominee for President, Mitt Romney, rolled into Boulder City Wednesday afternoon.

The bus stopped at Veterans Memorial Park around 2 p.m. Several people from the community were there to take pictures and get information about the campaign. Neither Romney nor his running mate, Paul Ryan, was on the bus. The bus then rolled on to campaign stops in Pahrump.

Ryan held a campaign rally at Palo Verde High School and a fundraiser at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Tuesday.

President Barack Obama’s campaign announced he is making a stop in southern Nevada next week. No details about the trip scheduled for Wednesday have been released.

Both candidates and their running mates have made multiple stops in Nevada. The state is considered a swing state in the upcoming November election.
