President Barack Obama again left the hotel at Lake Las Vegas where he is preparing for Wednesday's debate. The president and his motorcade left the Westin Hotel just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The motorcade passed through the Lake Mead Recreational Area and arrived at Hoover Dam at about 1:18 p.m. They took the Lower Portal Road where the president was able to get a view from below the dam. He did not make any public remarks.

This is the second trip away from Lake Las Vegas for the president. Monday he left to bring pizzas to volunteers at his campaign office in Henderson.

The president made a public appearance at a campaign rally Sunday at Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas.
