Boulder Beach Pier Repaired and Ready for Holiday Weekend | Public Spaces
The fishing pier at Boulder Beach is now back out in the water and open to anglers, just in time for Memorial Day.
The pier was closed in March after vandals burned a hole in the deck of the pier and broke several rails. The damages, which were estimated at about $6,000, made the pier unsafe.
Fishermen often use the spot to catch largemouth bass, rainbow trout, striped bass, black crappie, channel catfish and bluegill.
