Historic Train Rides Return in February

Train rides are returning to the Nevada Southern Railway Museum in Boulder City.

The train starts up again Saturday, February 4. Riders travel seven miles along the historic Boulder Branch Line to Railroad Pass. The line was used to bring supplies to the Hoover Dam construction site in the 30s.

Travelers can either ride in the climate-controlled Pullman coaches that date back to 1911 or ride in the open-air coach. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4 to 11. Children under 4 are free.

The train leaves at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., every Saturday and Sunday through February. Boarding for the ride starts 15 minutes prior to departure.
